Smart buyers don’t hit snooze on great opportunities. In a destination market like Estes Park, the best properties are being watched closely—and waiting too long often means watching someone else move in.
• They act when the right property shows up. If you have to “sleep on it,” you may not be sleeping in it. There are always other buyers paying attention. When a great deal appears, act on it—or be comfortable waiting for the next opportunity. I’ve helped many buyers who waited years for the right home, only to pass when it finally appeared and never see the same opportunity again.
• They understand compromises are part of the process. Every purchase comes with trade-offs—but the key is choosing what you’re willing to compromise on. The more prepared and informed you are, the clearer your non-negotiables become. Helping clients sort through what truly matters versus what’s flexible is one of my favorite conversations to have.
