What is an Alpine Legacy? It’s more than just a name, it’s a feeling, rooted in a sense of place, a thread that weaves through time, connecting generations through a shared love of the mountains. Estes Park has long been a place where families gather, where friends return year after year, and where memories are etched into the landscape. From wildlife sightings and mountain hikes to downtown strolls and fireside stories, there’s something timeless about the experiences created here.

For me, the inspiration for the name Alpine Legacy began far from Colorado, at my grandparents’ lake home in northern Michigan. No matter how chaotic life got growing up—moving homes, tough seasons, family struggles—that special home on the lake was a constant. It was where we swam, fished, played cards, roasted marshmallows, and shared belly laughs around the table. My grandma always had food on the stove, a game on the table, and a warm hug ready. Grandpa was usually tinkering on projects but was always interested in what you had to say. That place became my favorite spot on earth, not because of the house itself, but because of the love and legacy it represented.

When I started selling real estate in Estes Park back in 2004, I quickly realized this mountain town offers people the same kind of magic I found on the lake as a kid. Opening my own company in 2011 gave me the perfect opportunity to add a name to this feeling of building a legacy through real estate in the mountains.

Whether it’s a rustic cabin, a dream home with a view, or a piece of land to build something new, I get to help people find their own version of that special place—a home base for memories, meaning, and connection. That’s what Alpine Legacy is all about. It’s about honoring the places that shape us and helping others build a legacy they can pass down, just like the one that I was blessed with.
