The Uplands is a small area just off of Fish Creek Road. The property was originally owned by Governor Sweet, the Governor of Colorado back in the 1930s. When taxes got too high, he decided to sell off part of his land, now known as the Uplands.
The Uplands backs up to private open space and National Forest. Most homes are between 3,000-6,000 square feet and sit on at least an acre of property. There are still quite a few buildable lots available for purchase. Because of their vantage point above Fish Creek Road, homes take advantage of the panoramic views from Longs Peak to the Continental Divide to Lumpy Ridge and the Estes Valley below.
The Uplands has easy access to paved walking and biking trails that lead to Lake Estes, the schools, and downtown Estes Park.
